Users of Facebook, Now Achieving 500 Million
The number of Facebook users of social networking will reach 500 million this weekend. To celebrate this, the social networking giant Facebook will launch a special feature called “Facebook Stories,” which will be a collection of stories about FB users that changed their lives thanks to Facebook.
Facebook also announced that it has reached 150 million mobile users, or up approximately 50 percent since April.
“We anticipate achieving 500 million users of Facebook, and we want to find another way to announce and celebrate this,” said Director of Marketing Facebook, Randi Zuckerberg, in an interview with Swisher.
