This is About The Five Principles Facebook Privacy

To convince the users of Facebook, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg wrote an open letter published in the Washington Post website, Monday (05/24/2010). Writing in response to a complaint that many parties, especially in the United States and Europe, who protested to safeguard the privacy of the social networking site.

Zuckerberg explains the five principles guiding the related Facebook user’s privacy. The first principle, Facebook will always give control to every user’s privacy settings.

“Many people decided to invite some others to see personal information that many people are familiar easy to find on Facebook. We already provide controls to limit the emergence of such information and we’ll work on getting more reliable,” said Zuckerberg.

The second principle, write Zuckerberg, Facebook will not provide personal information to others users or third-party services that unwanted users. Third, Facebook will never give that information to advertisers.

Fourth, Facebook will not sell any information relating users to other parties. Fifth, Zuckerberg argued that Facebook will remain forever be a free service for everyone. (Kompas)
